The Next Event on The 2008 Fabulous Florida Disc Golf Tour is:
Hernando County vies for the Gran Canyon property.
Exactly one year after the Gran Canyon disc golf course was dismantled, it seems that the property is once again available…though not officially on the market.
Hernando County is mounting a charge to acquire the property with plans to re-open it as a mountain biking facility. After speaking with Hernando County officials, they are also interested in disc golf in a co-existing role at the Gran Canyon.
